How to Acquire

You must have the fishing skill and a fully equipped Bushcraft Fishingpole or Primitive Casting-Rod in order to catch fish.

Use the menu action

Icon keyboard.pngAdventure > Fish

to cast your line into a body of water.

Carp can also occasionally be found in Tidepools, which occasionally replenish with various fish.

How to Use

Carp can be prepared severals ways, including Spitroasting, Drying, or cooked over an open Fire

Once caught and butchered, a Carp produces 2 Raw Filets

To cook a Filet of Carp over a fire creates Roast Filet of Carp.

Drying a Filet of Carp on a Drying Frame takes around 66 RL hours and produces Dried Filet of Carp.

Spitroasting a whole Carp over a fire using a Roasting Spit creates 3 pieces of Spitroast Carp.
