Seeds of Carrot are used to plant Carrots You need 5 Seeds of Carrot to plant one tile of this crop.

You can stack Seeds of Carrot in stacks of 50 in your inventory, or store 1000 Seeds of Carrot in a Bucket, or store 10000 Seeds of Carrot in a Barrel.

How to Acquire

Place a Wild Windsown Weed on a Drying Frame or Herbalist Table. When it dries, it has a chance of becoming Seeds of Carrot, or any other type of seed

After planting Seeds of Carrot and waiting for its crop to grow, harvesting the crop will yield between 10 and 15 Seeds of Carrot, depending on your Skills.

How to Use

In order to use Seeds of Carrot, you must first plow a tile of earth, then plant the Seeds of Carrot in the ground.
There are several ways to do this:

  • with Seeds of Carrot in your inventory, LEFT-CLICK and drag the Seeds of Carrot to the plowed earth and RIGHT-CLICK the desired tile.
  • with Seeds of Carrot in your inventory, SHIFT + RIGHT-CLICK the Seeds of Carrot and hold LEFT-CLICK to drag an area of ground to be planted.
  • with a Bucket filled with Seeds of Carrot in hand, SHIFT + RIGHT-CLICK the Seeds of Carrot and hold LEFT-CLICK to drag an area of ground to be planted.

Notes

Carrots have two stages of harvesting. Their fourth stage results in seeds when harvested, and their fifth and final stage result in 1-3 Carrots, which can also be planted. If using the Amber client with crop stage indicators enabled (ctrl + p), the forth stage is denoted by a yellow dot over the crop, while the fifth stage is indicated by a red dot.
