A dead squirrel is what appears when you right-click a live squirrel in your inventory and select "Wring Neck".
When flayed it yields one Squirrel Carcass, one Fresh Squirrel Tail, and one Fresh Squirrel Hide of the same quality as the squirrel, softcapped by Survival.
Squirrel Carcass can be cleaned by right-click into Clean Squirrel Carcass and Entrails.
Clean Squirrel Carcass can be butchered again into one Raw Squirrel and one Bone Material.
