The freshly cut hide from a Boar. Needs to be dried to be used for crafting or tanning.
How to Acquire
Fresh Boarhide is a Hide obtained by killing a Boar and skinning it while holding a sharp object such as a Stone Axe. Each Boar provides a single Hide, equal to (2x2) of Inventory space.
When dried on a Drying Frame and tanned in a Tanning Tub, each Hide provides high quality Leather. Obtaining a Boarhide can be dangerous as a Boar is considered dangerous without the necessary Combat stats required, therefor caution is advised for newer players before engaging.
It takes 2 ingame days (16 hours) to dry / 10min = 1%.
Quality
The Quality of a Fresh Boarhide is affected by Survival and the Sharp Tool quality (ie.: stone axe).
