Scythes will instantly harvest 2x3 tiles in front of your Hearthling rather than only the single tile you stand upon.

How to Acquire

You need to equip a Smithy's Hammer and you need an Anvil to make a scythe.

Scythe Quality = ${\frac {{\frac {_{q}Wood+_{q}Metal}{2}}*9+{_{q}Anvil*4+_{q}Smithy'sHammer}*3}{16}}$ and is softcapped by ${\sqrt[{2}]{Strength*Smithing}}$ .

Quality of the scythe affects stamina consumed in its main job of harvesting crops.

It can not be used as a sharp tool.
The scythe seems to have a shining animation when you walk with your character facing southeast or southwest while equipped.
It used to increase the speed of harvesting, before harvesting was made instantaneous.
Will harvest target crops outside of selected area if there in harvest range of the Scythe.
