Snow is found covering the peaks of Mountain biomes and can be obtained by digging. It is used to craft Snowmen, Snowballs, and, most importantly, the healing item Cold Compress. It decays 12 hours after being collected (both at sea level as well as inside of structures), even when stockpiled. In cellar, snow melts slower.
It can be melted by placing it into a lit cauldron. Cauldron should have at least 5 liters of boiling water. Each snow piece converts to 1 liter of water roughly in 1 minute which adds to cauldron. Water quality is not affected by cauldron.
How to Acquire
Use
on snow covered ground.
Or use Shift + Right-Mouse-Click on some snow and then select the area you like to clear of snow (shovel highly advised).
