the recipe shows the need for bark and birch bark but actually uses 2 birch bark. -bajuba
: I think this is incorrect, but I think there are some bugs in crafting the bark boat. If you have enough materials for 2 in your inventory, and make one, sometimes 2 of the birch bark get used and then you cannot make another. Sometimes the correct barks get used, but somehow you are prevented from making another, until you drop all the materials and pick them back up again. Does anyone else have this problem?

I think I understand what is happening. The recipe uses a tree bark and a birch bark but if the birch bark is last in your inventory it will use it as the normal bark. kind of like when making hardened leather you can use hardened leather on accident. - bajuba
