Production
# Catch a male and a female Silkmoth. They are randomly seen flying around Grassland and Forest Terrain.
# Place the Silkmoths into the same container. After 8 hours (real-time), they will die and lay 6-10 Silkworm Eggs. Any Silkmoth without a mate will also die, but without producing eggs.
# Put Silkworm Eggs onto an Herbalist Table for 8 hours (real-time). They will hatch into Silkworms. If the table's quality is below that of the egg, the worm's quality will be reduced.
# Silkworms check for and eat Mulberry Leaves every 4 hours (real-time). If they miss a meal more than once, they die. Whenever a Silkworm eats a leaf of lower quality than itself, the Silkworm's quality will lower. After eating four, they will turn into Silkworm Cocoons.
# Silkworm Cocoons will hatch into a Silkmoth of a random gender after 16 hours (real-time). Alternatively, they can be boiled for 1 Silk Filament. This is modified by your Nature/Industry slider; full Nature will award 2 Filaments, whereas full Industry will award 0.
# 10 Silk Filaments can be spun into 1 Silk Thread on a Spinning Wheel, 10 of which can be woven into 1 Silk Cloth at a Loom.
The wild crop patches known from the second world in Haven & Hearth have been replaced with Wild Windsown Weeds (WWWs), a new wild plant that you can forage for. This wild plant, when dried, converts into a seed of some kind that you can then plant with the Farming skill. The kind of seed you obtain from Wild Windsown Weeds is random and not dependent on the type of terrain on which they are found. However, if you find several Wild Windsown Weeds in the same "area" they will tend to produce the same type of seed.

How to Acquire
In order to see the Wild Windsown Weed you need to have a Perception * Exploration score of at least 100 (confirmed [not quite. I just found one at perc*expl=80. See talk page.]). They can be found in most terrains, and are often hard to see because of their size.

Quality
Soil quality of the area determines the quality of Wild Windsown Weeds and is softcapped by Survival.

How to Use
The Wild Windsown Weed is used to get seeds, in order to get these seeds it must be dried on either an Herbalist Table, or on a Drying Frame. The drying time on a drying frame is 2 in game days, or 16 hours of real time, and the drying time on an herbalist table is 8 in game hours or about 2.6 hours of real time.
}}

A battering ram can break down walls, homes, or just scare the hell out of your neighbours with your military might.

After building a battering ram, it takes 24 real life hours for the glue to dry and make it usable. As of the update on December 27th, 2010, it only takes 8 hours for bone glue repairs to dry rather than 24 hours. December 27th, 2010 update.

How to use
To use the battering ram, right-click it and select "Move". Your cursor will change to the icon you get when you select the "Lift" option. You can now push the ram to where you click, so you can take it to the wall or building you wish to demolish. Simply moving it close to the target isn't enough; you have to click on the target with the weird cursor. Next, release your grip on the ram, right-click it again, and now you should also have the "Use" option available.

A battering ram can only be pushed for a small distance before breaking down, so make sure to build it close to the wall you wish to attack. If your strength is too low and you don't have people to help you, Boar Tusk Snuff can make for a nice boost.

Damage
The damage you deal while destroying is the square root of your strength with an additional bonus for wielding certain tools, so 16str = 4 damage, 36 str = 6 damage, 144str = 12 damage etc.
A ram adds a static 20 damage and allows up to 4 people to combine their damage.

Pickaxe does not help while using a battering ram, according to loftar.

<math>{Damage}=(\sqrt {strength}+bonus from items)+(\sqrt {strength}+bonus from items)+(\sqrt {strength}+bonus from items)+(\sqrt {strength}+bonus from items)+20-{Soak}</math>

Say we have 4 people attacking a palisade, one has 64 strength, the others have 124 strength. The damage you deal to the wall is calculate as follows:

<math>33=(\sqrt 64)+(\sqrt 124)+(\sqrt 124)+(\sqrt 124)+20-30</math>
