[[Category:Liquids]]
Tea is a Drink made from [[Green Tea Leaves]] or [[Black Tea Leaves]], which increases stamina, as well as reduces the [[Food Satiations]]<br>
==How to Acquire==
With a [[Teapot]], a boiling [[Cauldron]] with at least 1 Liter of water, and two Green Tea Leaves or [[Black Tea Leaves]], open the cauldron's interface and craft the items together to receive 1 Liter of Piping hot [[Tea]]<br>
Piping Hot tea lasts for about 1 hour before turning into regular Tea and provides approximatley a 20 quality increase when drunk hot.

==How to Use==
The proper way to drink tea is to use your [[Teapot]] on a [[Mug]] and drink from the mug, but tea can be stored in [[Waterskin]]s, [[Waterflask]]s, [[Bucket]]s, and [[Barrel]]s<br>
Do note that not drinking out of a proper vessel (in this case the mug) halves the effective quality of your tea
==Drinking==

*Quality 10 tea recovers 10% stamina and drains 20% energy per 0.05L sip. Higher quality tea will decrease the energy drain but stamina recovery remains the same at all qualities.
:*This makes high quality tea useful for performing stamina draining tasks without having to eat as much to recover, thus preserving your hunger bonus. Though energy is always shown as a whole number, it is not simply rounded up or down. For example, Q11 tea will alternate between draining 20% and 19% energy at regular intervals. Other drinkable liquids follow the same rules and formula.
*Energy Drain = <math>(\frac{1}{\sqrt{quality/10}} + 1) * 10</math>
:*According to that formula initial quality growth is more effective, and it always higher than 10% per 0.05 sip. Naturally stamina regenerate 10% per 10% energy.

==Notes==
*There is no difference in the tea created from Green or Black Tea Leaves, however black tea leaves result in higher quality if your herbalist table is higher quality than the leaves being dried (output quality = averaging of inputted leaves and table quality); green tea leaves are a product of being dried once, but black tea leaves are dried two times on the herbalist table and therefore boosted up in quality twice.

'''Jorb''' himself comments on the process; ''"You, indeed, get a ratio of 1:10 grist to opium. If you boil less than 0.1 grist, you simply get the corresponding random chance to get opium out of the deal. So 0.01 grist will give you 0.01 opium 10% of the time."''
Wald are one of the many biomes within the Hearthlands, a form of [[Forest Terrain]]. On foot, a Hearthling can travel at a running pace through {{PAGENAME}}, with a decent level of stamina drain for doing so. You may plow a {{PAGENAME}} to turn it into plowed dirt, but directly paving a Bramble is impossible. {{PAGENAME}} are a source of many of the different [[Foraging|forageables]] in the game, as with other forest terrains, so it is a good idea to settle down near or inside of one, particularly when starting out, since they also are a plentiful supply of various materials which are needed in spades during the early portions of the game, such as [[Block of Wood|Blocks of Wood]], [[Board]]s, [[Bough]]s, and edible berries and fruits.
Only the [[Birdcherry Tree]] gives more boards and blocks per log than the Beech Tree, which is 2nd in place. However, where the Birdcherry only gives one log, the Beech tree gives two, making it an extremely efficient tree to grow. Note that the [[Maple Tree]] and [[King's Oak Tree]] will give more total blocks and boards, but will be spaced out between 3 and 4 logs respectively.

{{PAGENAME}}s are one of the many biomes within the Hearthlands, a form of [[Forest Terrain]]. On foot, a Hearthling can travel at a running pace through {{PAGENAME}}, with a decent level of stamina drain for doing so. You may plow {{PAGENAME}} to turn it into plowed dirt, but directly paving a Patch is impossible. {{PAGENAME}}s are a source of many of the different [[Foraging|forageables]] in the game, as well as [[Tree]]s and [[Bush]]es, as with other forest terrains, so it is a good idea to settle down near or inside of one, particularly when starting out, since they also are a plentiful supply of various materials which are needed in spades during the early portions of the game, such as [[Block of Wood|Blocks of Wood]], [[Board]]s, [[Bough]]s, and edible berries and fruits.

== Info ==
* Potential Foraging Seasonality data correctness issue: When a particular creature is given seasonality later on in future patches its kinda tricky to flush them out (''when its not included in the patch notes'') ... except by starting with a new fresh and empty table.
* Input data:
** '''...''': No data available.
** '''Y''': Spotted. - The easy one.
** '''N''': Technically this one is a bit tricky, given the randomness nature of spawning.
*** Input options might needs some additional re-thinking. As object seasonality can be a none bool(on/off) feature.
****Winter does not necessarily elminate some forageables right away, but snow/freezing ice will definitely cause many growing plants on the surface to disappear until the snow has melted/removed (cave foragables seem to be unaffected by snow and ice due to being underground)
Root Bosk are one of the many biomes within the Hearthlands, a form of [[Forest Terrain]]. On foot, a Hearthling can travel at a running pace through Root Bosk, with a decent level of stamina drain for doing so. You may plow a Bosk to turn it into plowed dirt, but directly paving a Bosk is impossible. Root Bosk are a source of many of the different [[Foraging|forageables]] in the game, as with other forest terrains, so it is a good idea to settle down near or inside of one, particularly when starting out, since they also are a plentiful supply of various materials which are needed in spades during the early portions of the game, such as [[Block of Wood|Blocks of Wood]], [[Board]]s, [[Bough]]s, and edible berries and fruits.

Note: [[Aurochs]] and [[Mouflon]] are reported to be seen at this terrain type, but rarely. (''removed "(rarely)" text-data from animals field in infobox data'')<br>
:(''Just a thought. Those cases might be just stray animals, if spotted relative near the terrain border. Discuss at [[{{TALKPAGENAME}}|talk]] page if needed.'')

'''{{PAGENAME}}''' can be used, in conjunction with [[Barter Stand]], to safely and automatically trade large quantity of items between Hearthlings.

==How to Use==

Normally, [[Barter Stand]] interacts with two [[:Category:Containers|containers]], utilizing a connection system using special objects called '''The Hand That Takes''' (Red) and '''The Hand That Gives''' (Green).
*The Green Hand, when placed in a container such as a [[Cupboard]], will take items inside that container to be sold to a customer that is purchasing from a Barter Stand.
*The Red Hand then, will take money (or specificed item) from the customer as payment when an item is sold, and store it in the container that the Red Hand is placed in.

[[Barter Pole]] works similarly to the giving/taking hand objects, except it can be applied to any inventory specific items within an small radius, allowing for better handling of larger volume of goods for merchants.
*The items can either be stockpiled or stored in containers, and as long as they are within the radius of the Barter Pole, they will be accounted for during Barter Stand transactions.
*The effective radius of the Pole is covers roughly 76 tiles as shown below

[[File:Barter Pole Range.png]]

''Placing the pole exactly in the middle of four adjacent tiles will maximize the amount of effective tiles covered''

For more information on trading mechanics, refer to [[Barter Stand#How to Use]]

==Notes==
*Added in {{Patch|title|A Fistful of Love}}
*Depends on which hand is applied to the Barter Pole, its graphic will change to indicate the specified hand (and thus the function of that specific pole), as shown in the infobox picture.
*Cannot be lifted, so choose the placement wisely.

This container was originally meant for containing gifts that can be wrapped up to be sent to friends, additionally you can wrap up items and drop into rivers (or a body of water) to surprise random strangers who may eventually pick it up!

Since this container is also an inventory item, players found that it can be useful for bundling multiple items to be sold at a [[Barter Stand]], taking up only one selling slot instead of multiple.
[[Category:Special Structures]]

The Wrecking Ball is a powerful siege engine that cannot move, but instead must be disassembled, carried and reassembled (thus resetting the 24 hour drying period before usage).

After building a Wrecking Ball, it takes 3 in-game days (24 real life hours) for the glue to dry and make it usable.

After placing a Wrecking Ball right-click it to see if an option to Wreck is available. If this option is not available, you placed the Wrecking Ball incorrectly.

==How to use==
Unlike the [[Battering Ram]], the Wrecking Ball does not require brimstone to build or repair offering an inexpensive siege option at the cost of time.
You have to build the wrecking ball so that the stakes (the wooden things on the legs) are facing your character when placing it. (See picture to the right or below for reference)

When placing the wrecking ball, you will have to hold shift+ctrl in order to move the Wrecking Ball closer to the wall. This is a must as you will not get a selection to "wreck" if the wrecking ball is not placed close enough.
If using a custom client, you can bring up the "bounding boxes view" (shift+B) in order to help you in placing the wrecking ball more accurately.

Visual of how to place the Wrecking Ball:

[[File:Wball_placement.png]]

==Damage==

The base damage of the Wrecking Ball is a static 40 damage. Therefore, damage can be calculated as follows:
<math>Damage = 40 + sqrt(strength) - Soak</math>

Only one person can operate wrecking ball at the same time.

'''Pickaxe or Sledgehammer does ''not'' help while using a Wrecking Ball.'''

==Notes==

* Added in update {{patch|title|Rekt!-ing Ball}}.

* Splash damage does occur when using wrecking ball

* The wrecking ball has no quality so it can be built using low quality materials

* It seems the waiting time on Wrecking Ball to dry is no longer 3 in-game days (1 real time day); in a lone case it has dried a couple real-time hours before the supposed finishing dry time.

* Because of the above, it is suspected the Wrecking Ball drying time was changed to 1 in-game day or 2 in-game days (8 real-time hours or 16 real-time hours respectively).

| xsize      = 1
| skillreq   = [[requires::Carpentry]]
| objectsreq = [[requires::Log]]
| producedby = [[requires::Bone Saw]] or [[requires::Metal Saw]]
}}

The quality of the boards depends on the quality of the [[Trees|tree]], the quality of your [[Metal Saw]] or [[Bone Saw]], and your [[Abilities#Carpentry|Carpentry]] skill level.

==How to Acquire==
Right click on a [[Log]] while having either a [[Metal Saw]] or [[Bone Saw]] equipped and the option "Make boards" appears. A metal saw can make more boards out of one log than a bone saw. However, it is often easier to get a high quality bone saw than it is to get an equal quality metal saw, so sometimes a bone saw is still desirable when you want quality Boards.

==Quality==
Your Carpentry skill acts as a softcap for board quality. The formula for board quality is as follows:

<math>\operatorname{_{q}Board} = \sqrt{_{q}Saw * _{q}Wood}</math>

If (Carpentry < board quality) then <math>\operatorname{_{FinalQ}Board} = \frac{_{q}Board + Carpentry}{2}</math>

Example (q10 Tree, q50 saw, 3 Carpentry)

board ql = sqrt(50 * 10)

board ql = 22.36

board ql = (22.36 + 3) / 2

board ql = 25.36 / 2

board ql = 12.68

board ql = 12
