Take a [[cheese tray]] with [[mothzarella]] and place it on a [[cheese rack]] either in a [[log cabin]], [[stone mansion]] or a [[cellar]]. The curds will take some time to change into cheese. Aftering changing, the cheese will not change until removed from the rack and placed again. Harmesan Cheese can only be placed outside to be turned into [[Sunlit Stilton]]. All other location will turn it into [[Generic Gouda]].

There are many different types of swamp in Haven & Hearth, though they are usually only found in small sections. Some kinds of swamp have leaches swimming in them, these attach to your equipment spots and are used to regain health, but make sure you have enough SHP and are not very hungry else you may die. 
 
The other kinds of swamp (murky-water or white on minimap) are useless because you can not build on them, let alone use your boat to travel on it. Thickets (also shown white on minimap) have many trees growing in it and are best avoided, unless you are a great navigator. 
 
If you are a new player living near a swamp is good because you can heal yourself with the [[Leech]] and you can use the leaches for fishing bait. Later you do not need to do this.
You can also find some Dragonflies on the swamps, and while they are tricky to catch, they`re still nice source of experience early-game. One can also find Royal Toadstool, Candleberry and Lady`s Mantle on the swamps.

'''Curiosity''' is a mechanic introduced in World 5 that allows hearthlings to develop [[Learning Points]]. It is implemented by studying peculiar objects either found or created in the game.
The [[Study Interface]], found by pressing the second button on the character window, is where curiosities can be placed for study.
You can't study more than one curiosity of each type at the same time, but you can restudy the same curiosity as many times as you want.
The sum [[Mental Weight]] of your curiosities can't exceed your [[Attention Limit]], which is equal to your modified [[Intelligence]].
The [[quality]] of the curiosity is known to have an effect on the total LP gained. The formula for the LP gained is <math>LPgain = BaseLPgain * sqrt(quality/10) </math>.

Do note that not all curiosities are created equal. [[Cat Gold]], for instance, has a very long study time; but contrary to what was first thought, it also has a low LP gain. The concept is that as the intelligence of a character rises, you will have attention to spare, so that you can also study the lesser curiosities along with the better ones (unless, of course, you're rich enough to have access to the best ones constantly). And since quality effects the potency of curiosities, as the world becomes established and item qualities begin to rise, some items may gain popularity due to their potential for quality.

An example of the quality issue is the [[Cone Cow]] versus the [[Dandelion]]. Dandelions take twice as long for the same base LP gain. However, to counter for this you can find higher than quality 10 dandelions quite easily, whereas it takes a fair amount of effort to get higher quality cone cows (planting and growing high Q trees).

Base LP should be given for the Curiosity at 10ql and for a learning ability of 100%.
