"The RoB Wiki currently hosts information for both the current Haven & Hearth world as well as the legacy server. Please be aware that information relating to legacy should be found on pages with "legacy" in the name. While our editors have done their best to get things sorted, please be aware there may be some pages that haven't been moved properly and may still be flagged that the information is legacy and may not apply to the current world."

This is a foul scent left behind whenever someone kills another character. It can be used to try to find the perpetrator and the perpetrator's hearth fire.
How to Acquire
Right-click on the smoking footprint (specifically, the footprint itself) and select track to collect a limited number of scents.
Important notices
You can't attack a murderer without the rage skill. You can't kill a murderer without the Murder skill. Killing a murderer will leave a murder scent. Even if you kill one of your own alternate characters, other people may still take your scent and summon/kill you.
