Use to discover items

So someone told me that I could discover items using a vending or barter stand. I built one and but I guess I did it wrong as I think that the "owner" of the stand can't buy from his own stand. Or is the way to buy things that stupid? --Deadguy60 02:34, 16 April 2012 (EDT)

And I got it working on the character I wanted to discover metal and mussels. I suppose using it to discover things is not much of an exploit but an in-game work around of the discovery system. I did the change owners thing that is supposedly bugged. Good things to trade for is soil or branches. --Deadguy60 13:02, 16 April 2012 (EDT)

Ownership bug verified
