Use

Apple pies, once baked, can be eaten by right clicking on them and selecting the 'eat' option. Each provides 35% to your hunger bar, and provides 5 CON in FEPs.

How to Acquire

Craft [C] > Cooking [k] > Apple Pie [A]

First, produce the dough from the Craft > Cook menu. Gather water, flour, an apple, and butter in order to produce the dough. Place the dough into an oven by right clicking the oven and placing the dough into one of its four inventory slots. Place three branches into the oven by right clicking the oven while holding each branch. Finally, light the oven by right clicking on it and pressing the 'light' button. The pie will be ready in approximately 18 minutes.

You can use more branches, but the pie will turn to ash if it is cooked for too long, so there is no significant benefit to doing so. You can also cook apple pies and bread together as they have the same cook times; however, other bakeable objects do not, so you must be careful to keep track of time when cooking apple pies with things other than bread.
