Normal bark vs Tough Bark
Related Ref edit question:
Are there any cases where birch bark can't be used as replacement for normal bark? If not, birch bark would be more or less a substitute for both normal- and Tough-bark.
There is one case where it can't act as both but has to take a side. How efficiency it is in creating tanning fluid.(Right. All 3 bark types gave 5% concentration on 10l) --.MvGulik. 18:25, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
Birch bark is a type of tough bark and tough bark is a type of Treebark. So yes, birch bark can be a substitute for both. Everything that asks for Treebark will take any type of bark. Edit: The main point of my edit was to remove the pointless "Treebark" category with only 1 member. I put that info in the description instead, with the additional info that Birch bark is (more specifically) tough bark. Phaen (talk) 03:46, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
