Finery forges are used to refine cast iron into bloom, which can then be worked by a smith in order to produce wrought iron. Place up to nine units of cast iron bars into the finery forge along with charcoal and set alight, after some time the metal will either turn into valuable bloom or worthless slag.
Finery forges can also be used to convert stacks of a hundred coins into a bar of metal.
