Revision as of 08:35, 15 May 2010
Template:Infobox structure Boats are currently the only method in the game of efficiently traversing through water terrain, other than Swimming although swimming is highly dangerous and you will drown almost instantly unless you have at least 50 Constitution.
A boat is generally a very good form of travel as it can hold up to two large items (such as containers and constructions such as a loom.) and travels almost twice as fast as a sprinting character in water, however it cannot move on ground and needs to be lifted from river to river (or lake). Boats can hold up to two people, a driver and a passenger.
You must press Ctrl+Left Click which direction you want to leave a boat, make sure you don't click towards deep water if you have swimming.
Skill required
Strangely enough, the Wheelmaking skill is used to build a boat.
As of May 14th, 2010 (Or May 15th for timezone adjustments), the Row Boat is constructed with the skill Boat Buliding.
