Backpacks use the "back" equipment slot, which is the sixth equipment slot on the right. While equipped, it extends inventory space by 2 vertical bars. As with all items that provide extra storage, these bonuses are cumulative. Because it uses the back slot, it cannot be used simultaneously with a quiver.
How to Acquire
Craft [C] > Leather Working [L] > Backpack [p]
It takes 4 pieces of leather and the leather working skill to create a backpack.
