A skeleton is the body of a creature after its flesh has been butchered or rotted away. Being around another person's skeleton drains player's happiness (although happiness plays no role in the game).
Types
Once killed, the following entities will leave a skeleton after butchering or after a long period of time has elapsed.
Type | Image | Collectable Bones |
---|---|---|
Humans | Hearthling Skull | |
Aurochsen | 6 | |
Bears | 12 | |
Boars | 4, Boar Tusk x 1-2 | |
Cattle | 6 | |
Deer | 6, Deer Antlers | |
Foxes | 2 | |
Mouflon | 3 | |
Pigs | 1 | |
Sheep | 3 | |
Trolls | Trollbone x 8, Troll Skull |
Utility
In order to ward off looters, some villages will leave the skeletons of their human victims outside of their palisade/wall as a symbol of what they can and have done to people in the past.
Human skeletons can have their Skulls removed.
