A Vapntreyiu is a unique armor that gives defensive stats, but can be worn underneath defensive armor (like Leather Armor or Bronze Plate). A quality 10 Vapntreyiu has 75Hitpoint, AC 10/10. A quality 30 Vapntreyiu has 225 Hitpoint, AC 17/17.

In medieval Norse, Vapntreyiu literally means "arming shirt". It is a padded, quilted jacket stuffed with wool or similar, often worn underneath armor for additional protection. It is also known as a gambeson or aketon.
