How to Acquire

Silkworms are hatched from Silkworm Eggs by placing the eggs on an Herbalist Table for 24 in-game (8 real life) hours. Once you have hatched your Silkworm Eggs into worms, place them in another container (preferably a container that can hold double the amount of Silkworms you have, chests work nicely), and match their number with Mulberry Leaves. Every 12 in-game (3rl) hours, the Silkworms will check for leaves. If there are none, they will check again in 12 (3rl) hours, if at that point there are still no leaves, they will die. After they have eaten leaves 4 times, they will turn into Silkworm Cocoon.

Silkworms start at 0 and grow to 3. They require 4 Mulberry Leaves each to grow to Silkworm Cocoon. Each time a worm eats a leaf, the worm's quality can improve or decrease towards the leaf's quality.
