How to Acquire

Build > Walls and Fences > Palisade

Begin by constructing a cornerpost and then right click on the cornerpost to expand the wall.

Two empty tiles with cornerposts on either side make building a gate possible. Once a gate has been built, the character (the character laying the final touch on the gate) will receive a key for it.

Notes

Palisades are next to indestructible (soak=30dmg) without a Battering Ram. - This is no longer the case as many people have 300+ str easily at this point and can break them by hand.

All palisades, cornerposts and gates must be constructed on paved tiles or grassland. Gates require extra paved tiles in front of and behind them.

It is recommended that you extend your claim to one tile beyond your palisade to prevent people from walling your gate in. If someone still walls you in, Jorb will be able to collect the vandalism clue and take action.

Each Extra Gate Needs a Additional Corner Post. One Base Corner Post to start it the wall, and each to close the gate area. (Do note that you can extend your palisade 3 tiles down from a post, and destroy the 2 walls in between to save time and material.)
