Pigs are domesticated boars. For more information on taming, see the taming page. On rare occassions, pigs can give birth to twins.

Only male pigs give tusks(1-2) when you collect their bones.

Advantages To Pigs

Pigs give Pork instead of Boar Meat. Pork has all of the same applications as Boar meat and can also be used in Bierwurst where Boar Meat cannot be. Pigs also yield a larger quantity of intestines and meat when slaughtered.
