Boat

Boats are currently the only method in the game of efficiently traversing through water terrain, other than Swimming although swimming is highly dangerous and you will drown almost instantly unless you have at least 50 Constitution.

A boat is generally a very good form of travel as it can hold up to two large items (such as containers and constructions such as a loom.) and travels almost twice as fast as a sprinting character in water, however it cannot move on ground and needs to be lifted from river to river (or lake). Boats can hold up to two people, a driver and a passenger.

Skill required

Strangely enough, the Wheelmaking skill is used to build a boat.

Building

(Build[B]>Tools[T]>Rowboat[b])

A boat needs 40 boards and 5 wood blocks to be built, and can be lifted like most constructions.
