Soak
In a nut shell:
1) Have some heartlings with significant different strength.
2) Also have some strength gilded clothes/items with lesser strength differences
3) Having a normal axe and a pickaxe also helps. Technically they count here as strength +1 and +2 respectively.
Now try to see between which two strength's the soak message disappears.
The soak is related to the maximum strength that still generated the soak warning message.
The soak value is the square root of that strength value.

" for now to the infobox soak parameter.)
