Occasionally when butchering animals, you will find a Disgusting Tapeworm hiding within their being.
BEWARE! Tapeworms are a sign of intestinal parasites! Eating infected meat from the same animal you found a tapeworm in has a very high (guaranteed?) chance to inflict you with Deep Worm.
Deep Worm is not a "wound" per se, as it doesn't reduce your HHP. Instead, Deep Worm grows gradually inside you by a percentage, and consumes FEPs from foods you eat. You lose a percentage of FEPs equal to the percentage the Deep Worm has grown.
Both Roasted and Spitroasted meat is able to infect you. Cooking the meat into dishes is currently unknown; best not to risk it. There is no way to know meat is infected other than finding a tapeworm in the body the meat came from, so be careful about eating meat you didn't butcher yourself.
Your Deep Worm won't leave on his own; your body, after all, is his preferred home. If you've grown tired of him, drinking Tansy Extract will kill him instantly.
To make Tansy Extract, you first need to learn the skills Plant Lore and First Aid. Then you'll need to get enough PERxEXP score to see Tansy, which is 250.
Boil water in a Cauldron and open it, then with an empty Clay Jar in your inventory combine two Tansy and 0.10L of Salt Water. The Tansy Extract will fill your jar.
