Build > Construction > Ore Smelter
The smelter is used to get metal bars and nuggets from ore. Note that there is an exploitable bug associated with structures that require fuel.
How to Use
Fill it with ore. Smelter can hold up to 25 pieces of ore. Fuel it with at least 4 pieces of charcoal by left-clicking the charcoal and right-clicking the ore smelter. Then right-click the smelter again and select Light. It takes 20 minutes to smelt a single load.
Formula
The formula used to determine the outcome quality of the bars you receive from smelting ore has been changed in World 4. Ores now have quality, the new formula is similiar to the kiln.
O = Ore quality. S = Smelter quality . F = Average quality of the fuel used.
