There must be a multiple Skill &/or Attribute softcap involved as I just made 1 with 2 Q 49 Fir Boughs & 1 Q 155 String. Resultant Q was 95 but should have been 102. Pertinent Attributes & Skill Values were: Dexterity 58, Stealth 92, Sewing 80, Carpentry 96, Survival was at 134 (128+6 w/Bonuses added.) --User:Reyajh 20:55, 8 October 2014 (EDT)
- Providing I have not messed up my math or data. ...
- The formula for a 'softcaped value'(Z) is Z=(X+Y)/2.
- With X and Y being the 'none softcaped value'(lets use X) and the 'softcapping value'(Y)
- So if Z=95.0, and X=102.0, than the 'softcapping value' Y=(Z*2)-X is 88.0.
- As there is no single 88 value/solution in the specified data, the next step is to look for a softcap mix.
- For 2 values that is Y=SQRT(R*S). (For 3 it would be the cube-root of (R*S*T). etc)
- The best match for the given data seems to be Dexterity(58) and Survival(134) = 88.16.
- And the second best match would be Sewing(80) and Carpentry(96) = 87.64.
- I think the problem should now be easily solvable. Good luck. --.MvGulik. 14:53, 9 October 2014 (EDT)
