From Carpentry page: Unlike some other crafting skills, the quality of Carpentry products is not known to be affected by any Attribute and is instead only affected by the incremental Carpentry skill.

So presumably it can be capped by carpentry. Unfortunately i can't give you own answer because all barrels with QL worth tracking I've made, was using a crafting alt, having carp skill at board QL. --Rook (talk) 16:02, 19 July 2013 (EDT)

The basic rule for items in the "Build" game menu, which I have not seen disproved yet, is that the final quality for "Build" items are not effected by any soft- or hard-capping. OR: "Build" items quality is only depending on the quality of the used materials. (For "Crafted" items its of course a different story.) --.MvGulik. 17:23, 19 July 2013 (EDT)

Does Barrel Q affect Q of the Wine, or product produced in it? Does its Q slow the rate of decay of the Barrel? I've found no information on these and plan to test them. Reyajh 19:45, 23 June 2014 (EDT)
