Ocean levels
Currently the ocean water level is generally tagged as shallow and deep. But ocean water has 3 levels. --.MvGulik. 11:57, 13 December 2019 (EST)
- Ender client uses: Water,Deep,Owater,Odeep,Odeeper. Probably based on res related names. --.MvGulik. 16:24, 17 December 2019 (EST)
Small animals
Game Dev's use "small animals" to tag a particular animal group (butchering related). A group that is currently not used at RoB. Not sure if there is some game/res data that shows when a animal (that can be butchered) is deemed a small animal ... other than perhaps the fact that those can be captured without a fight (and/or always flee on approaching). --.MvGulik. 12:09, 13 December 2019 (EST)
- I noticed there are animals that can be caught and butchered like crabs, mole, squirrels, rabbits, and chickens, but that you can also run over and kill with a horse/cart/wagon. Perhaps these are all categorically considered small animals by the devs/game. There are actually another you can kill like this that many people might not know about, such as starting combat with a swan and luring them on land and swishing them with a knarr before they are able to reach the water, then you can pick up the carcass. Or alternatively, you can capture them into your inventory when they are fleeing on your boat (refer to this thread [1]). --Rexz (talk) 03:52, 14 December 2019 (EST)
- Setting up a blank animals data collection table. Current data fields in mind: "Inventory"(No/Dead/Alive), "Caught"(Y/N), "Squish"(Y/N), "Butcher"(Y/N), "Fight"(Y/N). Code generated, so adjusting it at this point is still easy. --.MvGulik. 07:24, 14 December 2019 (EST)
- Mmm. Probably should look first at consolidating available creature/animal page data into some categories and/or properties. --.MvGulik. 10:41, 14 December 2019 (EST)
