The Visual Editor(VE) is a WYSIWYG editor which allows users to edit text in a more user-friendly manner, while showing how edits will appear in real-time.

Keyword here is 'text'. When it comes to other things the visual editor can be kinda quirky. But one can, if needed, toggle it to 'edit source' mode and back using the included VE toggle for this.

General (RoB wiki) cases:

• Adding text in the main/fist section, but after the infobox: When there is no previous text. Placing the cursor at the start of the first header and hitting Enter creates an input line for text after the infobox-call. The top [+ Insert paragraph] in this case will create a text section before the infobox (Mainly only used for general page-notifications -- like for example the 'Stub' message-box).

• Template editing: Generally not advised. Here the VE will generally restructure the code formatting of the template call. Which in some cases is fine. In other cases its not desirable, as it makes the template code user unfriendly when viewed/edited in 'edit source' mode. (Although templates can be given some VE code-formatting rules. Its kinda limited in nature.)
