Seer

The Seer is mentioned many times in-game in the form of curios, such as the Seer's Bones, Seer's Stones, Seer's Spindle and Seer's Tealeaves.

These were all present even back in Legacy but more recently a possible clue came to light of the true identity of the Seer.

Above is an image of a player wearing the Seer's Tunic, Seer's Hood and Seer's Shoes, all of which were stolen from Jorb, one of the two developers of the game, near the end of the ninth world.

It is unknown at this time if "the seer" is meant to be a nod to Jorb himself as, being a developer, he is somewhat of a seer himself over the game's world, or if perhaps Jorb is canonically The Seer of the Hearth within the game's lore, or whether or not Loftar is also a Seer himself, or if in fact none of it is connected in any way whatsoever and "seer" is a throwaway term used to give a cool name to some decent curios and Jorb made himself a set named the same just to have a fun outfit.

The Hearthlands may never know the true identity, motivations or goals of the mysterious Seer, but one thing is for sure. He's looking quite stylish.
