Getting rid of it

Targeting only the small animals in this case. So rabbits and chickens. (assuming chickens act the same here as rabbits)

Definitely not working is Tansy or Tansy Extract as it can only be used by, or applied to, characters.

  • Can't be given to the animals directly.
  • Can't be turned to swill.
  • Can't be added to water.

So next would be trying to detect which animal is infected and which is not.

Problem one is ofc that detecting if a particular animal is infected by a disgusting tapeworm involves killing it.
So one needs to try to figure out which parent is potentially invested based on the infections of the offspring. (making this a slow process, especially for rabbits)
Potential rules:
  • 1) Assuming only one of the parents passes on the infection.
  • 2) Assuming there is some random chance the infection is passed on. Potential ration unknown unfortunate. For now assuming infection has a 3/4 chance of being passed on.
  • If one parent is infected the offspring probably gives a below ~45% infection rate.
  • if both parents are infected the offspring probably gives a above ~65% infection rate.
  • Needles to say one still don't known which parent if its only one. ... +I had a rabbit infection rate of what seems to be 100% (swill was not infected).

Hmm ...

Potential better alternative:

  • First get some new animals (low q group). Then let one pair, per coop/hutch, breed and see if the offspring is not infected.
  • Than let a non-infected animal breed with a potential infected (high q group) animal. If there is no infected offspring that parent should be save/(not infected).

Should work (even if one parent gives 100% infected offspring), although untested at this moment.
