Talk:Finding high quality water, clay, and soil
TODO:
Get rid of the disclaimer once page is updated.
Verify quality degredation (believe it is completely removed).
Qualities can be capped by a variety of skills other than survival--masonry and cooking to name a couple
Water section seems to be accurate; might update with added well mechanics.
Soil needs major revamp--soil quality and foraged items no longer share a node; in fact, each foraged item has its own node.
Clay is almost universal in water, but only a few pieces per tile can be dug before it needs to refresh.
Acre clay (reddish/brownish) is on a different node than ball clay (yellowish/brownish)
Would recommend checking every "minimap" tile for qualities. Good nodes can be smaller than this.
"Now, in W10, the quality -snip- clay is limited only by your progress in farming and hunting."
That's very missleading ... as it's just related to BC - and should be stated on BC page - for a general information page (a Beginners "HowTo") it shouldn't be that special ... and tell about Masonry related to clay q ... --Borka (talk) 13:04, 26 January 2017 (EST)
Request URL change for this page
Seeing if an admin can help change the URL for this page, having commas in a URL is just bad formating practice, and it breaks the link when pasted into ingame chat. --Rexz (talk) 14:02, 19 November 2019 (EST)
- I'm not a fan of commas in titles, but I don't see a good alternative name in this case. For bypassing your pasted link issue ... one could pass a link to the Category:Guide page (or create and use a intermediate "Guides" redirect(to Category:Guide) page). --.MvGulik. 02:38, 20 November 2019 (EST)
