Page move/Rename ?

Hey was checking something here and I noticed: The in-game name is "Hop Cones" not "Hops Cones". I don't know if it was changed from legacy but I was going to update it, as well as all the links to here, however there is also a redirect for Hop Cones to Hops Cones and I'm not sure how to handle that part...--Reyajh (talk) 22:11, 19 June 2018 (EDT)

If you can't move a page because there is already an existing page on the target location ... your options are:

• A) Put in a request to get the target page out of the way. ie: Add "{{delete|<YourReason>}}" at the top of the target page with the intended move as explanation/reason. Than, after the target is deleted, initiate the move (including the Talk page). ... Or
• B) Directly request for the page to be moved by an Admin. (same amount of work for an admin, less work for you)

After the page move/rename, its kinda optional to manually fix any links in other pages to the now redirection page (the redirection page takes care of keeping the links working properly).

Its also kinda boring work, and ... Admin's can do that site-wide if deemed needed (or requested of course). ... A lot less work (but, just in case, just not logged under your name)).

Hi MvGulik. Thanks for your response. In game the item itself is called 'Hop Cones' and the graphic shows (appears to be) 3 of them (Same if you hover over a stockpile of them). Alternatively, the unusually large version is just one and is called (In game) 'Unusually Large Hop Cone'. As far as the whole, "{{delete|<YourReason>}}", process, I'm afraid that's a bit over my head. I guess it is not that big of a deal, I was just going to manually correct it, but the process went over my head. --Reyajh (talk) 04:51, 21 June 2018 (EDT)

After taking a peek at the related resource file and filename, I see no reason to not move/rename the page. ... Done.
