Template documentation (for the template shown above, sometimes hidden or invisible)
- Function
- Mark text or sections that are potentially, or known, to be outdated.
- This also drops the pages into the Outdated category.
- Keyword
- The general and default used keyword here is "outdated".
- But "W14" can also be used as keyword to mark potential changed data in relation to World 15.
- Usage/Syntax/options
- 1)
{{outdated|<text to be marked>}}
- or
{{outdated|s|<text to be marked>}}
- Span's target text. For in-line text usage. Will not cross/handle in-line breaks.
- 2)
{{outdated|d|<text to be marked>}}
- Div target text-block. For when the Span version will not do.
- Open at the start of the first line. And close at the end of the last line.
- Both 1 & 2 cases also allow for a "t=<text to be marked>" option. In case there is an "=" character in the used text.
- Like
{{outdated|t=abcd=cdef}}
- 3)
{{outdated|on}}
&{{outdated|off}}
- For marking wikitables.
- (This so far seem the best general option to use.)
- Dev: (See about some remark option. So older W13 cases could be lifted to using this template.)
- Dev: (Inline vs Block mode. Do we really need separate inline(option1) support.)
