Discrepancy between Sericulture and Silkworm Egg page
Hey, this page says 2-10 eggs but the Sericulture page says 6-10 eggs. Which one is correct? Phaen 14:09, 17 February 2011 (CST)
Just had some eggs happen. 96 Silkworms produced 376 eggs. That's 7.8 eggs per pair on average. I'm more inclined to believe the 6-10. Phaen 00:29, 18 February 2011 (CST)
Well got 71 eggs from 18 moths (7.9 eggs per pair) but I also got only 5 eggs from one of the pairs, so I know 6-10 is incorrect. But if it's 2-10, why is the average number of eggs so far away from 6 per pair? Maybe they're both wrong then? Phaen 17:24, 20 February 2011 (CST)
Just have 11 eggs from 2 pairs of silkmoth. Means "6-10" is wrong, but from where came "2-10"? Someone have these results? Fals89 08:48, 17 November 2012 (EST)

The Sericulture page says that when two Silkmoths die and leave eggs, they will leave between 6 and 10. The Silkworm Egg page says between 5 and 11. Which one is correct? Foetuses [talk][cont.] 07:17, 16 July 2013 (EDT)

If we take 7.9 eggs as a general average in the right direction. Than 6-10 and 5-11 seem both plausible. 11 eggs from 2 pair means 5 is definite a real minimum. Considering I put up the 11 value, but also can't remember specifically why. I think its best to stick with 5-10, and adjust when there is a reported case of more or less eggs. --.MvGulik. 16:15, 16 July 2013 (EDT)
