Besides their specific use in crafts, fir boughs can double as branches in crafting; though they aren't usable as fuel.
Fir boughs may be used in any construction or recipe that lists "Any Bough" as an ingredient.
How to Acquire
Right click on a sufficiently grown fir tree and select the appropriate option. Each fir tree will provide 5 boughs.
