Craft > Tools > Keyring
Keyrings will hold up to 9 keys. The keys are functional as though they were in your inventory, and can be removed at any time.
How to Use
To put keys on a keyring, right click the ring when it is in your inventory. That will open the keyring like a seedbag and give you access to nine slots for keys.
