String is not an actual object, but refers to Hide Strap, Plant Fibres, Silk Thread, Spindly Taproot, Stinging Nettle, and Yarn.

Almost anything that requires string can be made with any combination of these objects. An exception is Fishing Line.

Notes

• This picture does NOT represent any one thing and no object version of the picture exists in game. Each of the individual types of string look different from the picture and from each other.
• Some constructions need thread to repair, so be careful if you have Silk Thread in your inventory, or it might get lost in repairing.
