You need vinegar to make rennet.
How to Acquire
To produce vinegar, you need a winepress and a lot of grapes (50 grapes for 10l). Put the grape juice into a wine barrel and wait for one ingame week till the juice turns into wine. Wait one week again and you have vinegar.
Vinegar can be stored in Wine Bottles and Demijohns.
Quality
The quality of the vinegar depends on the quality of the wine and the barrel. If grape juice ferments to wine to vinegar in the same barrel, the barrel quality is used twice in calculating the vinegar quality, as it averages with the grape juice for wine quality and then averages with the wine quality for vinegar quality.
Notes
- Once a barrel is emptied of vinegar, the barrel cannot be filled back with vinegar other than with aging wine in it.
- A barrel that contains vinegar can still be filled with more vinegar.
