Data Dump
Additional information when testing skulls that would be very useful in tracking down the specifics of skull items (developed) Hearthling Skull and Underdeveloped Hearthling Skull would be the victims full skills/beliefs/values list.)
For those that owned the skull-character, you can find active and inherited character specs in your HnH forum account page.
To manually get, a dead and not yet inherited, character information page you can use "www.havenandhearth.com/portal/char/<UserName>/<CharacterName>" (When your logged in as <UserName> at HnH forum.) --.MvGulik. 10:08, 20 June 2013 (EDT)
- "I created a fresh alt, nothing inherited, alt had gained 0 LP total, killed it, took skull and gave it to study to another alt. When the alt was done studying it gained 6 LP." ref: Skull: Deathlord
- Now this is what I call quality data. Which seem hard to come by now a day's. --.MvGulik. 14:50, 14 June 2013 (EDT)
- I found a newb's skeleton and picked the skull from it with an action 'I knew him, Horatio.' It was underdeveloped, q10. I put the skull in my study at 12:34:15 PDT and it reached 1% at around 12:59:00 PDT (which was close to the percent change). It reached 5% just at 14:35:25, the change in percent occurred within a minute or so accuracy, as I had been checking it constantly at that time. The study weight is 5 and quality 10, so the newb seemed to have around starting attributes. Their encampment showed no signs of anything beyond the Hunting, Lumberjacking, and Stoneworking skill. Therefore I reason, the base study time, at least, is 40 hours. Now we just need some similar data from a q15 or q20 skull to see if that changes. I can get around to killing some alts to test this data some more, but it might take a while, so anyone's free to confirm here with their own data. Foetuses [talk][cont.] 11:25, 24 June 2013 (EDT)
Validity of the Infobox Stats?
Right now they're -999, because we don't know, but what can we really put there? Base LP as a fresh alt, as you reported, is 6. I'm not sure if the regular study attributes are relevant to this curio or not, since it's so dependent on who exactly was killed. Foetuses [talk][cont.] 14:53, 20 June 2013 (EDT)
- Yea, I'm not sure here either. Disable the curio setting on MPSkull for the moment (removes it from Curiosity_Table).
- Currently you can't have textual curio settings. Should not be that hard to change, but I'm not yet sure if that would be a good thing. Although I don't see any other, or better, way. As there currently is so little solid curio information available, I kinda feel there is no rush here. But that's just me being lazy. --.MvGulik. 17:04, 20 June 2013 (EDT)
Skills needed
Probably no additional skills needed, or maybe something like foraging. If a fresh brand new Hearthling can pick a skull from a skeleton. Its "none". --.MvGulik. 11:09, 24 June 2013 (EDT)
