The Hearthling Skull is a Curiosity which can be used in the Study Report to earn Learning Points.
How to Acquire
Can be found on unspoiled worthy human skeletons. If a Hearthling has either less than 50 Intelligence or less than 100.000 LP gathered in their lifetime, they will drop an Underdeveloped Hearthling Skull instead.
Notes
- The mental weight of a Hearthling Skull is the victims Intelligence/2.
- A Skull's quality is equal to the Psyche of the player it was "provided" by.
- Removing a skeleton's Skull will cause its graphic to change into one without its head, making it easier to distinguish which skeletons have Skulls to be picked from.
- The LP gain from a Hearthling Skull is believed to be 1% of the victim's total LP earned.
- According to user Lalaxx on Discord: "Mental Weight/Quality of skull looks at the effective Intelligence/Psyche the character died with, so it can be modded by wounds/equipment/&c. But the 50 Intelligence check for being developed measures the base INT."
