Minehole-Bug. Stuck in Palisade

So there is a bug, which can get you stuck in a palisade. Do not ever build you palisade like this, or you'll get stuck in the Palisade everytime you want to leave the mine. I have no idea how these Wikis work, so maybe someone want to bring this screenshot on the main page. --Newshi (6 May 2011)
Legacy-Mine Hole - Stuck in palisade.jpg

Things have changed. When placing a (Round-pole)fence-post at the mine-hole(top) exit position the character is placed at a other predetermined location when exiting the mine-hole.
General Mine-Hole exit points.
Legacy-Mine Hole - Exit Points.jpg
Note1: Dark blue tiles = blocked with fence pole in tile center.
Note2: Think there is some need for a confirmation whether the above "Stuck_in_palisade" case (first image) is still possible or not. (just to be sure its not related to something else. Although doubtful at this point)
Note3 (Res-data): Exit point are also included in the minehole.res file (neg_0.data "#Coord ep[?][0..8]", assumed to be read only for clients)(not included in "Exit_Points" image). These points are general offset locations, as in: the final character position might be slightly different due to some possible final character position adjustments.

Entrance Blocked

We have two mine holes pretty close to each-other. The one they say is inaccessible, the other one gives a red warning that the entrance is obscured or something similar. Why could that be?

Build a third minehole (at some sensible distance away from the two other ones.) and see if you can take a peek. Its probably one of a number of factors that are not that hard to figure out ... if you would try. --MvGulik 10:46, 18 March 2012 (EDT)

Paving cave ground near mine-hole (?)

Is the pavement limitation that is in effect near cave entrances also in effect near mine-holes ? (Did no find any notes on that part on the wiki) (NTS: Search forum) ... --MvGulik 07:40, 12 July 2012 (EDT)

Forum links:
"you can place a claim on a paved tile, but you can't pave a mined tile" (Apr 16, 2011)
"its not possible to build anything in a mineholes area" (Feb 26, 2012)
Seems like I need to move the borders/walls to see if that opens up some additional options. --MvGulik 13:48, 12 July 2012 (EDT)

Name - Mine Hole / Mining Hole

I just noticed that in the building prompt for a Mine Hole, the title of the building window is "Mining Hole". Is a page move in order? Foetuses [talk][cont.] 16:20, 31 July 2013 (EDT)

I don't know. I can't find a res file that actually uses "Mining Hole". The res file "paginae\build\minehole" uses "Minehole" as text. And the file "gfx\terobjs\mining\minehole" has no textual data (+checked against server files. Identical.). Just in case it might be some res file that's not in my collection, could you see if you have some additional minehole related res file in your .haven cache. Note: it might be using a slightly different res file name. Note2: the res files

"gfx\terobjs\mining\mine" and "gfx\terobjs\mining\minelit" are unused(old?) res files. --.MvGulik. 18:55, 31 July 2013 (EDT)
