Comma in lists style
Took a look, out of personal interest, at the comma in lists style use across RoB-wiki.
- General Uk style:
- "Please buy bread, milk and cheese.
- General US style ('Oxford Comma' style):
- "Please buy bread, milk, and cheese.
- ref (one out of many)
- The current UK/US ratio on RoB-wiki seems to be around 40/60. (Based on a Main-pages only scan: ~210/250+?)

- Is this something we should try to standardize? If so should we go with the UK style? I can work on standardizing things (Got too much free time at my job).

- I'm not completely sure yet at the moment, ... but probably will. There would be no need to look for them manually though. For the most part this can be done with a internal wiki-admin-tool that allows for global text searching & replacing (with regex support). If needed, for questionable cases, I can post the search result (example)
- Personally I also favorite the UK style when it comes to simple clear lists. Oxford comma in those cases seems just unneeded and a bit of overkill. --.MvGulik. 11:18, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
- Fair enough. I wasnt even aware that was a mostly US convention.
