Using glass keys is also an option (especially with Knarr I figure). They are easily destroyed, if you are carrying more than one glass key with you. (consumes one glass key each time you take the helm, if I'm correct)

However. A ship that is not useful to some attacker will probably also have a higher chance of being destroyed (Knarr and Snekkja alike I figure). --.MvGulik. 13:11, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
