Psyche softcap

The Psyche softcap was mentioned in the skill The Symbel but I don't think that is where the information should belong as the skill is not needed to craft symbel items. I thought this page would be a better place for such information but I don't know if psyche is the only softcap of these items. --Deadguy60 19:01, 16 May 2012 (EDT)

Also, this might be a good category for someone to make a table for. --Deadguy60 21:22, 20 May 2012 (EDT)

Symbel Item Bonus/Decay

Based on observation(W6+W7). The base benefits when putting a symbel item on a table are correct for when adding a item to the table. But when items on a table decays while on the table, there current benefits do not match the base table. (They keep there higher benefits for lower q items while decaying, while the table symbel setup is not reset. (note: seems to only apply to FEP bonus.)

So there is some additional benefit rule in place here.

Example:
(W6) With Wicker Breadbaskets that where at least q40 when placed on a table, the FEP +2 bonus remained active wile the Wicker Breadbasket decayed below q40. At least up to q35 if I recall correct.
(W7) For q 10 Wicker Breadbasket's, the +1 FEP bonus is maintained up to q0. So at least the item maintains is original bonus for at least 10 points below the base q. (or the bonus will be maintained until the symbel setup its reset.)

(W6) Checked that it still 'was' the Wicker Breadbasket that was giving a +2 FEP bonus by taking it off the table(-2 FEP) and putting it back on the table(+1 FEP).

The rule here could be relative simple, like bonus = item(decayed on table)q+N.

Data needed in trying to figure out the rules for decaying-items-on-a-table bonus:

- lowest q on a item while still giving a higher bonus. (q10->q1)
- for different starting q's on the same item. (Wicker Breadbasket perfect for this due to its fast decay. q90 included.)
- lowest q for some other times to.

Reset notes: - When a map is unloaded/reloaded the symbel items on a table will reset there bonuses as if there where just placed on the table. - When a symbel setup for a table is changed. (Or any item change will reset the FEP bonus on all other symbel items on the table. (need to verify it a bit more.)

Mmm. Nitpicking, but: Preferably tested with only one Symbel item on the table. And also with different(and known) table-q's. Just in case. (for later. if needed)

Bonuses W10

As was tested by few people looks like classic formula(.) work for all bonus of symbel now. And found interesting thing - base wear always 10, for all items. However how exactly bonuses degraded with wear - cant figure. Will add this to all symbel now.

Updated. ANd now how we can remove legacy symbel out of hafen category?

Yo, fixed up the nasty legacy symbel problem. the [[template:menu usage scan]] (and subsequently the template:GM), which we use to create the

Icon keyboard.pngCrafting > Menus

auto categorizes certain items based on which menu shortcut they are apart of. In this case, having The Symbel on all those legacy pages was causing the problem.
