To grow a Birch Tree, one needs a [[treeplanter's pot]], an [[herbalist table]], 1L of [[water]], [[soil]] x4, and a seedling; in this case a [[Birch Catkin]]. First, place the soil and water, into the pot. Next, the seedling. Lastly, put the the pot on the table. After approximately 2.75 hours, the tree will either sprout or die. If it is dead, all you can do is empty the pot and start over. If it has sprouted, you will have approximately eight hours to plant it before it dies.

Take the pot, find a spot of grassland or forest where you wish to plant it, and right click on the spot while holding the pot to get the option to plant it. Note that it will grow faster on Broadleaf Forests since that's its native terrain. The tree will take up to one week to grow, and will have fewer options available while it is growing.
The quality of the tree is determined by formula:

<math>\frac{\frac{_{q}Pot + _{q}Soil + _{q}Water + _{q}Table}{4} + _{q}Seed}{2} (-2, +5)</math>
The quality of the tree depends on the quality of the herbalist table, treeplanter's pot, soil, water, and seedling used.

Birch Trees are found in Broadleaf Forests. Note that the terrain looks the same as Conifer Forests other than the fact that all of the trees are completely different. Birch trees provide birchbark instead of tree bark - it can be used to create kuksas. Birchbark can be used in the tanning process.

How to Acquire

To grow a Birch Tree, one needs a treeplanter's pot, an herbalist table, 1L of water, soil x4, and a seedling; in this case a Birch Catkin.

The quality of the tree is determined by formula:
