A bone saw is required to make boards from a log. You get 4 boards from each log instead of the 6 boards you get with a Saw. The quality of a bone saw is affected by Survival and capped by bone quality.

The quality of the saw affects the quality of boards you can produce, and their quality is softcapped by Carpentry.

How to Acquire

Before crafting a bone saw one must have discovered Bone Material. It is not sufficient to take the bone off the ground or from a container, it must be discovered by butchering a chicken or rabbit yourself, or collecting bones from the skeleton of a larger animal.
