Material cost randomly assigned values (weights are biased and not reliable)

Material Value per Unit
Block of Wood 1
Board 1
Stone 1
Thatching Material 1
Straw 1
Rope 2
Bone Glue 2
Cloth 2
Hardened Leather 3
Glass Pane 3
Bar of Any Metal 5
Bar of Hard Metal 6
Bar of Cast Iron 6
Bar of Steel 8

Suggested values for some of the materials

Glass Pane 500, Bar of Any Metal 250, Bar of Hard Metal 500, Bar of Cast Iron 1000, Bar of Steel 10000.

Probably still far from perfect, but much better than the placeholder example.

Stuff like stone/block should almost be considered "free" in the material sense, and instead value the effort required to extract/haul them (at least compared to stuff like Bar of Steel.)

Final-value sub-parts that potentially could be looked at: Number of total needed skill, total experience cost. General (highest one I guess) source resource accessibility. --.MvGulik. 11:46, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
