Legacy:Fuel

Fuel comes in a variety of forms. Some items can only use certain types of fuel, others can use any form. Each type of fuel burns for different lengths of time, called a "tick" One tick has a length of approximately 5 minutes 33 seconds. The exception being the Steel Crucible, where one ticks is 40 minutes long.

The forms with the number of ticks are:

• • Branch -- 1 tick,
  • Block of Wood -- 4 ticks,
  • Coal -- 1 tick for smelters, crucibles and the Finery Forge, 2 ticks for all others

Fuel is used to power a variety of items. Kilns, Ovens, Smelters, Finery Forge, and the Steel Crucible all require different amounts of fuel to bake the items in them. Cauldrons and the Alloying Crucible only need to stay lit as long as you are working with it.
